Access Journals in the ISI Citation Databases
:: Thomson Scientific has issued a white paper, entitled Open Access Journals in the ISI Citation Databases: Analysis of Impact Factors and Citation Patterns - A citation study from Thomson Scientific. Using the 2003 Journal Citation Reports, ISI re-examined the coverage and citation performance for open access journals. From the abstract:
The evolving environment of scholarly publishing includes additional avenues for making content openly available. Our findings suggest that over 55% of the journals and over 65% of the articles indexed in Web of Science® in 2003 are produced by publishers who permit some form of self-archiving, and could be made OA by author archiving.

Another test, from home, in Firefox, Thursday evening. I see this is still a test blog.
It all seems to work. The fact that Typekey takes you out of the current page and then drops you at the top of the page is an ergonomic issue. I am not sure how my own blog behaves and if there is better code.
Steve and I have started using RSS feeds. Very handy to see when something is added. Addictive for newshounding.

As requested, another test post.
The comment entry fields for a Typekey user don't include the email. That's a convenience. I entered an address in Typekey and checked a setting to have Typekey post the address if required by the blog I am commenting on. You have changed your setting, so you should see it in the Comment notification email and in the comment administration - although it should not appear in your blog.

OK I brought up the page, and it said I was logged in as BK but I was brought to the comment moderation message when tried to post the comment. Then I refreshed and posted the comment just above. My other comment, a moment before that, may be in your moderation list. I don't know if it will be from TD or BK.
